Now completely remodeled, Palm Door provides the perfect ambience for weddings and parties. The main room features rustic wood floors and beams, with a 14-foot vaulted ceiling. Warehouse-style lighting and ceiling fans add to the room’s character.

In order to allow our guests to create the perfect atmosphere for their events, we have a liberal decor policy. We allow small nails in the walls and beams and encourage guests to drape fabric, hang art, or otherwise transform the space.

You and your guests will appreciate the easy flow between the interior rooms and exterior spaces at Palm Door.

The building’s interior consists of a main room and gallery (2,940 square feet), with a capacity of 299 people standing. For a seated dinner at round tables, the capacity is 150 depending on the size of tables used. In theater-style seating consisting of rows of chairs, the capacity is 200 people.

At the back of the house is a private bride’s room with its own restroom.

Wireless high-speed internet is available throughout the facility.

Palm Door’s commercial kitchen is home to Pink Avocado Catering, offering the finest and freshest food in Austin. We do allow outside catering with a minimal per-person surcharge. Pink Avocado also holds a liquor license and can provide all the refreshments for your special event. Please visit their website at www.pinkavocadocatering.com.

Ample parking is available in the Austin Convention Center parking garage or in any of the nearby surface lots. We can also refer you to a valet parking service, if desired.

Palm Door is also available for film and photography shoots. There’s plenty of room for crew, equipment and production office.

2012/2013 pricing for a 10 hours block including furniture for up to 150 people (15-60″ rounds, 7 cocktail tables & 150 fruitwood folding chairs).

March/April/May/September/October/November: $3,600 Saturday, $2,500 Friday/Sunday

January/February/June/July/August:  $2,800 Saturday, $2,000 Friday/Sunday
